(September 2003)  On the first anniversary of "9/11" the USPS designed special pictorial cancellations for use at a number of New York City post offices.  The item shown below might be one of a kind, but reminds us of the philatelic use of stamp posters that were displayed on post office bulletin boards decades ago; an enterprising philatelist affixed two of the Heroes of 9/11 stamps to the poster and had it cancelled at the World Trade Center Station on September 11, 2002. We will never forget.
