Character Profiles: On May 22, 1997 the USPS issued the first "Character Profile" on the first day of the Bugs Bunny stamp. The short-lived series continued with the Sylvester and Tweety stamp in 1998 and ended with the Daffy Duck stamp in 1999.  Sadly, Character Profiles were not issued for the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner stamp or for the Porky Pig "That's All Folks" stamp.  Each Character Profile is an 8 x 10 inch card with facts and characteristics on the character(s) and includes the stamp, affixed and cancelled on the first day of issue.
